RULES & REGULATIONS

The Show will be held under the Rules and Regulations of the Chamber of Agricultural Societies & PCAQ Rules.

All Exhibitors and Competitors other than those issued with special passes are required to pay the prescribed entrance at the Gate.

The Rules and Regulations of the Chamber of Agricultural Societies and the Notes as set forth in this Schedule are to be the conditions of competition. Any matter arising not specially provided for in the foregoing shall be determined by the Committee, whose decision shall be final.

All protests shall be in writing and must be lodged with the Secretary within half an hour of the event. A sum of $100.00 shall be lodged along with the written protest and the onus of proving the protest shall rest with the person lodging same. If, in the opinion of the Committee, the protest is considered frivolous, the deposit shall be forfeited to the Society.

All rules pertaining to Breed Classes and Open Performance Classes shall be taken from the Australian Horse Show Association Show and Performance Rule Book.

Any person, whether an exhibitor or otherwise, who makes use of foul or abusive language on the grounds will incur the penalty of expulsion, or dealt with as the Stewards may determine.

DOGS

Dogs, other than those owned and being shown by members of the Canine Control Council, must be kept in a closed float or vehicle or else on a short leash and must be suitably muzzled as to prevent it being able to injure or bite any person or other animal.


SOCIETY’S RESPONSIBILITIES

The Society will not be responsible for any accident that may be caused through or by any exhibit and it shall be condition of entry that each exhibitor hold the Society harmless an indemnified against any legal proceedings arising from any such accident.

The Society will not, under any circumstances, hold itself responsible for any loss, damage to, or any mis-delivery of any exhibit.

The Society will not, in any circumstances, hold itself responsible for any accident on the grounds or premises.

The Entry Form will be taken as a guarantee that the exhibits specified therein are fee from all disease as known to the owner. In the case of infectious disease spread through or by any exhibit, the Exhibitor shall be held responsible.

Precautions will be taken to guard against fire, and to protect the property of the Exhibitor, but exhibits will not be insured at the cost of the Society.


RIGHT OF REMOVAL

This committee reserves the right to have removed any item which in their opinion is considered dangerous and objectionable and which is exhibited or offered to patrons as an item for sale or as a prize given or distributed in any manner, and further reserves the right to immediately cancel space allocation for the current show period and/or any further show held on these grounds.


ALL RIDERS UNDER 18 YRS – MUST WEAR APPROVED SAFETY HELMET AT ALL TIMES WHILE RIDING ANYWHERE ON THE SHOWGROUNDS.
